Opening Times Mountain Lifts & General Business Conditions of the ski area Hochoetz

Opening Times

Much more time for skiing fun in the Hochoetz skiing resort!

The upcoming winter season 2018/19 starts on the 14/12/2018 and ends on the 22/04/2019.

The lifts in the Hochoetz skiing resort are open daily from 09:00 to 16:15.

Exception:
Acherkogelbahn:  9.00 am - 4.30 pm
Wetterkreuzbahn: 9.00 am - 4.00 pm
DSB Balbach:  9.00 am -  4.00 pm

 

Acherkogel lift cash desk

Sunday to Friday from 9.00 am - 5.00 pm
Saturday from 9.00 am - 6.00 pm
Ski passes can be bought from 3.00 pm for the next day. We also take your undamaged KeyCard back here and reimburse you the depot fee.

 

Ochsengarten lift cash desk

Monday to Sunday from 9.00 am - 4.00 pm
Ski passes can be bought from 3.00 pm for the next day. We also take your undamaged KeyCard back here and reimburse you the depot fee.

 

Parasol bar valley station

You can also hand in your KeyCard here and have your deposit refunded.

General Business Conditions

Reduction

We ask for your understanding that reductions for children, youth and senior citizens are only possible with a valid photo ID (date of birth). Disabled people, if more than 60% disabled (with ID - photocopy will not be accepted!) get discounts for the skipass Hochoetz Kühtai.

 

Key Cards

Ski tickets are only issued by way of KeyCards (with the exception of ascent & descent). The deposit for the KeyCards is EURO 2.00 which is reimbursed at the lift ticket offices and the parasol bar at the Acherkogelbahn valley station if the card is returned undamaged. Ski passes can be bought a day in advance (from 3 pm) with the exception 1-day tickets!

 

Exchange and Misuse

Take advice before you buy passes or tickets! Ski passes and day tickets cannot be exchanged or transferred to another person afterwards. In case of any form of misuse, the ticket will be revoked. Changes to or an extension of the period of validity are not possible. There is no refund in the case of loss of the ski pass.

 

Liability

The user of the ski slopes skis at his/her own risk.

 

Ski-Slope Rescue

Emergency rescue on the ski slopes comprises transportation of the rescued individual either to the valley station of the Acherkogelbahn or Ochsengartenbahn, whichever is nearest. For this ski-slope rescue / transportation to safety a fee of Euro 85 is charged!

 

Reimbursement

Only in the case of a skiing accident will the remaining days be reimbursed, upon receipt of a local doctor’s certificate. It is important that the ski pass is deposited as soon as possible at the ticket offices, the deposit date is valid in this regard! The doctor’s certificate can also be presented the following day. Season tickets and day ski passes will not be reimbursed. There is no reimbursement in the case of inclement weather, early departure, illness, breakdown of individual facilities, acts of God. Please be aware that individual facilities may be shut down in the course of the season because of the snow conditions, and the ski bus service may be suspended.

 

Multi-day tickets

These tickets are valid on consecutive days.

 

Payment

Ski tickets may be purchased with cash (Euro), bank card (Maestro) and credit cards (Visa, Mastercard) The agreed court of jurisdiction for disputes regarding this contractual relationship is the Silz Bezirksgericht [regional court]. In the case of disputes regarding this contractual relationship, only Austrian law is applicable.

 

Notice on responsibility for the tariff network „Kühtai-Hochoetz“, „Superskipass“, „Tirol Regio Card“ and „Tirol Snow Card“

The individual services to which these cards entitle you are provided by legally independent operators. The operator selling these cards is acting for the other operators only as their representative. Therefore, it is the relevant operator who is responsible for the provision of the individual services and for compensation in the case of possible incidents.

Subject to factual errors, publishing and printing errors, price alterations and changes to operating times.
