The cycle path continues along the Ache to the Köfels junction and on a gravel path towards Au. At the end of it, an asphalt path leads above the roaring Ötztaler Ache over two newly built and spectacular bike bridges. After the second bridge, turn left into a steep forest. At the end of the forest, an underpass leads to the other side of the street. At the next intersection, turn right to Winklen, from here along the Ötztaler Ache you finally reach Längenfeld.
Author’s recommendation
We strongly recommend to follow the route of the Ötztal Cycle Trail, otherwise you have to follow longer stretches on the busy Ötztal federal road.

Turn-by-turn directions
The third stage of the Ötztal cycle path starts in Umhausen near Östen. You cycle past the sports field and then cross the Ötztaler Ache. After the bridge, the path continues on the left into the valley and leads through the hamlet of Leiersbach. Soon you ride into a 3 km long, idyllic forest. Follow that forest at the next crossing further in direction Längenfeld until you finally cross the paved road to Köfels. Here the cycle path leads again over the Ötztaler Ache, before immediately turning right onto a gravel path and following this until you continue parallel to the main road. After a short while, the bike path changes from gravel to asphalt and runs separately over the Ötztaler Bundesstraße and above the roaring Ötztaler Ache over two newly built bike bridges. After the second bike bridge, choose the gravel path, which leads a little steeper uphill to the left through a forest to the hamlet of Au. Below the Nöslach chapel, an underpass leads to the other side of the street and follows the path until you finally reach the small hamlet of Au. At the beginning of Au, however, you choose the path to the right in the direction of Winklen and turn left after a few meters to follow the Auen, bike and hiking path along the Ötztaler Ache. Now follow the signs to Längenfeld via a gravel path to the hamlet of Lehner-Au, here you cross the Ötztaler Ache over a bridge and then drive along the other side of the river to Längenfeld. After a short time you reach a small wooded area, after that you turn left towards the sports field and swimming pool. From here it is only a few meters to the center of Längenfeld.
