The public bus takes holiday makers from the airport or from Ötztal Bahnhof to their holiday destination and back again inexpensively and easily. Public transport systems are very well developed in Ötztal, bus lines are running at short intervals and have numerous stops between Ötztal-Bahnhof and the rear end of the valley. The coordinated timetable promises direct connections if you arrive by train or plane.

Ötztal Inside Card
Guests in possess of a valid Guest Card or Ötztal Inside Card issued by the holiday region between Haiming and Obergurgl or Kühtai receive the Super Saver Price = special ticket for the validity period stated on the ticket upon presentation of their Guest Card or Ötztal Inside Card (except for line 8402 Windach and line 8404 Glacier). Families with a valid Guest Card issued by the holiday region between Haiming and Obergurgl or Kühtai receive the family rate on presentation of their Guest Card. The Guest Card replaces the VVT Family Pass and a family ticket is issued. (Family Ticket or Family Light)
Ötztal Inside Summer Card
Holders of a valid Ötztal Inside Summer Card can use the following bus lines and hiking buses free of charge for the validity period stated on the ticket upon presentation of their Card (also for arrival & departure):
The Ötztal Inside Summer Card for locals is not a commuter ticket, the free inclusive service of transportation by bus is limited to daily use from 8.00 am. Bus rides to/from Imst are excluded.

According to § 38 of the general terms of transportation for public bus lines: Dogs with an anti-bite muzzle may be transported if they can be accommodated without disturbing or hindering other passengers. They must be carried or kept on a short leash. The passenger must supervise his animal at any time. Dogs are not allowed to occupy a seat.
Passengers who visit the AQUA DOME Tirol Therme and buy a single ride ticket directly from the bus driver get the return ride free of charge if the single ride ticket is stamped by AQUA DOME Tirol Therme and the return ride takes place on the same calendar day!
Waldbad Haiming forest pool: In the area between Ötztal Bahnhof and Silz, visitors to the Waldbad can use the public bus to the swimming pool and back free of charge on presentation of a valid season ticket.
Bicycle transport is free of charge with a valid bus ticket! Please note the cycle bus stops marked with a special bicycle symbol on the “Line 4194/8352 Ötztal” (Haiming/Imst - Obergurgl/Timmelsjoch). Safe loading and unloading of bicycles and e-bikes is only possible at these selected stops.
