New Ski Piste: Balbach – Ochsengarten

The black ski piste no. 14 covering approx. 1 km connects the Balbach area with Ochsengarten. The newly built ski piste no. 14 starts just above the base station of Mohrenkopf lift towards Ochsengarten. Therefore it is the longest ski run of the entire ski area: The route covers 5 km from the top station of Wetterkreuzbahn via ski pistes no. 13, 10 and the new piste no. 14 to the base station of Ochsengarten Mountain Gondola.

Young family card

The Young Family Card is available for families with small children up to 4 years – born in 2015 or after. The skipass is transferable between the parents, so both parents can alternate the use of their skipass.

Kristall Bar and Self-catering Room

Bergbahnen Hochoetz mountain lifts invest with consistency in the quality of offers. The brand-new Kristall Bar replaces the former umbrella bar at the Hochoetz Panorama Restaurant. Additionally, a self-catering room is available for those who only to want warm up without having to buy food or drink.

Morning ticket

There's good news for all early birds who want to take full advantage of the morning ticket for a couple of hours full of ultimate skiing fun. From now on it's so easy to combine both fun on the ski slopes in the morning, followed by a pleasant break afterwards.

WIDIs Funpark

WIDI's fun park boasts a new attraction!
On WIDI's speed course the motto is "full speed ahead"! A modern LED time display makes it easy to compete with others in the race for new bests. Additionally, the funny mountain sheep WIDI says hello at the height of the new WIDI tunnel.

Extension of permanent race track

The already existing permanent race track (piste no. 1) was broadened. Now there is the possibility for two teams to train next to each other at the same time. On the other hand, winter sports enthusiasts not belonging to a club or sports association can use the track for new personal bests.

Ötztal Superskipass

One skipass for all Ötztal Ski Areas - 361 km of ski slopes, 90 mountain lifts and 6 ski areas - the new Ötztal Super Skipass gives unlimited access to all ski slopes in the valley.
