A perfect place for all those in search of truly relaxing winter holidays, away from the valley's major tourist centers. The romantic little village of Sautens makes a wonderful base for excursions to the nearby ski areas. Free skibus shuttles take you to the family ski areas of Hochoetz (2 km) and Kühtai (18 km) where snow is guaranteed throughout the winter season.
Sautens is located at the entrance to the Ötztal valley at 810m above sea level. In summer a renowned hiking paradise, in winter a white wonderland. In the Hochotz ski area snow is always guaranteed. Purchasing the Super Ski Pass avid skiers can enjoy unlimited 220 km of immaculate slopes in the ski areas of Kühtai, Niederthai and Sölden. Night skiing is offered for free at the Balbach ski lift once a week. Further attractions include marvelous guided snowshoe hikes at moonlight. Waht's more, sports enthusiasts can also take full advantage of the scenic ski mountaineering routes to Wetterkreuz, Karlesspitze or Pirchkogel - just to mention a few!

Haiming has already become famous for its wide range of fresh farm products and its unique Market Days. Delights such as sausages, cheese, bacon, homemade bread, fresh vegetables, schnaps, liqueurs, apples and natural apple juice are on sale. In the winter, Haiming offers an array of cleared trails for passionate winter walkers and hikers. Free skibus shuttles take avid skiers to the surrounding ski areas.
Ochsengarten, 1.538 m
The small village Ochsengarten is the ideal place for alle winter sports. The skiing area Hochoetz ends directly in front of your accommodation and since the winterseason 2009/10 a skibus takes you from Ochsengarten to Kühtai for free. A weekly programme with guest ski race, après ski and guided snow shoe tours completes the offer.
