In this, we are affected by a heavy north-easterly current until Sunday, next week, the wind will turn to north-west and introduce a weather period more prone to precipitation at the north side of the Alps. The wintry cold temperatures will remain mostly unchanged. The weather cycle will remain dry until early Monday afternoon. A persistent low stratus cloud cover will affect the weather in the valleys, above and outside of this zone, the sunny conditions will prevail time and time again. The chances for sunshine will be high on Sunday. Then, the weather cycle will become more unsteady. A first cold front will hit us throughout late Monday afternoon. After a short period of improved conditions on Tuesday, the next period of unsettled conditions with snowfall reaching the low areas in the valleys is to be expected on Wednesday.
