Piburger See

Highlight, various sights , natural landmark

The mirror of the mountains.The lake is a popular destination for young and old.Swimming is allowed at the bathing area and rowing boats can be rented. In summer, the lake reaches a water temperature of up to 24°C, making it one of the warmest bathing lakes in Tyrol.You can reach Lake Piburg from Oetz, Habichen, Piburg or Sautens on many different hiking and walking trails. Mountain bikers and e-bikers can reach the bathing area either from Oetz via the Elsinger Weg or from Habichen via the cycle path.Cycling is prohibited around the lake.Altitude: 913 mLength: 800 mWidth: approx. 240 mDepth: approx. 25 m
